Derby, Chelsea-Derby & Crown Derby

In summer of 1970
I purchased a piece of Derby porcelain to match a partial dessert service my grandmother brought with her from New England. I have been actively collecting since.
The part dessert service is now displayed in the Main Dining Hall.
This service has been in our family since 1772.

These collections were comprised of The Manor's extensive collection of Derby Porcelain and The Sydney Powers Collection of 18th and 19th Century English Teapots.

Both collections took over thirty years to build.
Viewing of the Ceramics exhibit was included with the Afternoon High Tea or by simply contacting the Manor directly.

In 2001 Marc-James Manor placed on permanent exhibit
the Powers and James Collections.
